Alistair AntonopoulosAlistair Antonopoulos is a scientific project manager working at Kreavet. He graduated from the University of Glasgow with a PhD in Veterinary Medicine. He previously developed novel molecular diagnostics for anthelmintic resistance and a next-generaion sequencing assay to aid in the sustainability of livestock production. Alistair has been involved in multiple multidisciplinary and international projects. In Kreavet, he is contributing to the conduct and development of multi-actor Horizon EU funded projects such as BIOSECURE, focused on improving biosecurity implementation within Europe for sustainable livestock production. As part of the BIOSECURE consortium, Alistair has been involved in the creation of a database of modelling parameters for livestock disease transmission, in addition to stakeholder disease prioritisation exercises at the EU and participating country level.
