Johannes CharlierJohannes is a veterinary scientist and regularly invited speaker at international workshops or conferences. After a career of 13 years as veterinary parasitologist at Ghent University, and 2 years as scientific director in Avia-GIS, he founded the rsearch agency Kreavet in 2017. He described his view on sustainable parasite and animal health management in a series of recognized review and opinion papers. The principles of those papers are a guideline for the development and strategies of Kreavet. Johannes is a EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Parasitology and received several scientific awards for his contributions to veterinary parasitology and epidemiology. He is (technical) coordinator of European funded projects including the secretariat of the STAR-IDAZ IRC, SPARC and DISCONTOOLS.
