Barb Muilenburg

Barb Muilenburg is an award winning children's book author. Her children's book Silly Zoo Is All I Can Say, co-written with her husband Troy, was awarded Creative Child Magazine's 2016 Book of the Year. Together theydeveloped the Write Your Way program, this is a reading and writing program designed for children 4-8 years old. While her children were growing up she was very active in her children's day to day activities as she served as a room mother for several years, as well as being a Boy Scout Leader and Sunday School teacher. Her family is still very much in her heart and values every moment she is around them. The thought of those special times is what makes writing children's books so fulfilling. Today she still enjoys being outside, biking, hiking, running, kayaking, fishing and walking her dog Paisley. Barb is a member of the Iowa Falls Rotary, a Realtor and fitness instructor.
