Brooke RollinsBrooke Rollins, an Assistant Professor of Rhetoric and a member of the graduate faculty at Louisiana State University, teaches courses in rhetoric, composition studies, writing, and critical theory. She received her Ph.D. in English, with a focus on hetoric and composition studies, at the University of South Carolina in 2007. While at South Carolina, she served as an Assistant Director of the First-Year English Program and taught courses in composition, advanced composition, business writing, and rhetoric. Her work has appeared in COLLEGE ENGLISH, RHETORICA SOCIETY QUARTERLY, and THE VELVET LIGHT TRAP. She is currently working on a book called GHOSTWRITING ETHOS: BEYOND CHARACCTER AND CHARACTER BEYOND, which explores the classical rhetorical concept of ethos in Plato, Aristotle, Lysias, and Isocrates.
