Deanna DayDeanna Day received a doctorate from the University of Arizona. She is an Associate Professor at Washington State University where she teaches courses in children’s literature and literacy. She just completed a three-year term on the NCTE Award for Ecellence in Poetry for Children and the Notable Poetry books and verse novels list.
