Elizabeth Mckinney Elizabeth is a mother of two and registered nurse who has held many titles throughout her career, from cardiac and post-anesthesia care nurse to clinical research nurse at the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts. After becoming a mother,she decided to explore yet another angle of nursing, this time focusing on childbirth education and hypnosis. Throughout her life and career, there has been one constant, and that is writing poetry. Whenever Elizabeth is faced with a challenge or has difficulty expressing her feelings, she writes a poem. My Buddy Bryant: A Story of Friendship and Dyspraxia was created after Elizabeth's son Bryant was officially diagnosed with Dyspraxia.
