Ferdi ÇelikFerdi Çelik holds a PhD in English Language Teaching from Ondokuz Mayıs University in Türkiye. He is the Head of the Foreign Languages Department and the Science Scholar Program Coordinator at TED Çorum College. He also works as an Executive Researchr in the Learning and Teaching Innovations Research and Development Group. His research focuses on smart education, artificial intelligence in language learning, immersive technologies, and learner psychology. His doctoral dissertation on metaverse-based English listening instruction received funding from the Türkiye Scientific Research Grant Program. He has served as a guest editor for the Smart Learning Environments journal and the British Educational Research Journal. He has published in high-impact journals such as BMC Psychology, Smart Learning Environments, The International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning, and Journal of Computer Assisted Learning. He has experience in project coordination, including an award-winning eTwinning project. He has also completed more than 30 international training programs on artificial intelligence, educational neuroscience, digital learning, and language pedagogy.
