Gabriela PiatekBorn and raised in Poland, Gabriela has been writing stories since she was a girl. At University she studied history as well as Celtic mythology and legend. Shortly after completing her thesis, she arrived for a summer-long visit to Ireland. A visit hat lasted just over 13 years. Inspired by Ireland's beauty, myths and legends, she continues to write, creating worlds and their inhabitants, their languages and beliefs as they blossom in her imagination. Now a resident of Poland, Gabriela regularly visits Ireland to visit her friend, Kasia Buckly, and to satisfy her craving for Irish landscapes, Celtic myths and magical legends.
