Kasia BuckleyA native of Poland, Kasia studied Russian Language and Literature. Entranced by myth and fairy tales, her dissertation explored the topic of magical creatures in Slavic folklore. It wasn't long before she joined her best friend, Gabriela Piątek in Conty Wicklow, Ireland. The breathtaking landscapes and magic-filled culture were the fertile sources from which she launched her creative writing and painting. Kasia now lives in Swords, County Dublin, with her husband, Conor, and has been adopted by the neighbour's cat. She continues to write stories and create botanical paintings featuring native Irish plants, especially those featured in Celtic folklore.
