George LekakosGeorge Lekakos is an adjunct lecturer at the Department of Management Science and Technology, Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens, Greece and a visiting lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, University of Cyprus. He holds a Sc in mathematics (Greece), an MSc in software engineering (UK), and a PhD in intelligent media (Greece). His research interests include interactive television applications, digital content management, human-computer interaction, and machine learning with emphasis on the design of personalization algorithms. He has published more than 30 papers in international journals and conferences, and he is the editor of books and conference proceedings. He is a member of the EuroiTV steering committee and heads the Intelligent Media Lab group within the ELTRUN eBusiness Research Center. Since 1999 he has been involved in several European Commission funded research projects and he has been appointed as project reviewer by the European Commission and the General Secretariat of Research and Technology in Greece.
