He JiongDr. He Jiong acquired his Bachelor's in Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, China, and LL.M. and Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen, UK. At present, Jiong is a lecturer at the Intellectual Property School, East Chin University of Political Science and Law. Jiong is the Director of the Research Centre for Online Legal Service of ECUPL. He is also a Council Member of the China Law Association on Science & Technology. From 2013 to 2014, Jiong was a guest researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property and Competition Law (Germany) sponsored by the Max Planck Society and the Pujiang Program of Shanghai, China. In 2015, Jiong was appointed by the World Intellectual Property Organization as a lecturer of the WIPO Summer School on IP. In 2018, Jiong was appointed to teach IP law at the National University of Public Service of Hungary, sponsored by the EU Erasmus Program. Jiong's research interests lie in the fields of international IP law, especially legal protection of software, and IP issues concerning "Belt and Road" Initiative of China.
