Helder CarrasqueiraHelder M. Brito Carrasqueira is a professor at the University of the Algarve - School of Management, Hospitality and Tourism (ESGHT), in the Department of Economics, where he teaches Portuguese and European Economics, International Economics, Internaional Marketing, and Internationalization of Tourism Companies. He holds a PhD in Economics (FEUAlg) and a Master in International Economics (ISEG/UL). He was Dean of ESGHT and President of the Scientific Council, as well as the Head of the Evaluation and Quality Office at the University of the Algarve. He has authored and co-authored twenty book chapters, fourteen indexed journal articles, and he is a member of the scientific board of three journals. He was a member of the scientific committee of eleven international conferences and has participated in five projects (two of which as project coordinator). Helder M. Brito Carrasqueira has supervised twenty-eight postgraduate and undergraduate dissertations, has made eighteen conference presentations, and has been an invited speaker in more than thirty academic events.
