James A MusserJames Musser began on guitar in 1966, and added the drums in 1970, when his brother got a lightlyused, 1967 blue sparkle Ludwig kit for Christmas. James was inspired by fusion drummers such as BillBerg, Gary Husband, Billy Cobham, Lenny White, NaradaMichael Walden, Furio Chirico, and so manyothers. He was fortunate to start his first fusion band in 1975. He is the owner and principal instructorat Peaceland Music in Torrance, CA since 1998, where he teaches private drum lessons as well as voice, guitar, violin, bass, and recording. His nominations include "Best Guitar" and "Best LA Band" at the LAMusic Awards. His band was also awarded "Top 100 Unsigned Bands" from Music Connection magazineand "Best South Bay Band" from Rock City News.
