John Korstad

John Korstad is Professor Emeritus of Biology and former Director of the Honors Program at Oral Roberts University, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. He holds a BA in Geology and a BS in Biology from California Lutheran University, an MS in Environmental Sciece from California State University, Hayward, and an MS and Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Michigan. His research expertise is in limnology, with a focus on nutrient–phytoplankton–zooplankton interactions, lake management, algal biofuels, and phytoremediation. He also has extensive experience in aquaculture, including research conducted at the Foundation for Scientific and Industrial Research (SINTEF) in Trondheim, Norway. He has served as an Academic Editor for the journal Biology published by MDPI and continues to engage in academic mentoring and support former students in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
