Karen DockstaderKaren, an internationally certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBHWC-C), and certified Functional Medicine Health Coach (FMCA-C), first started studying and practicing yoga in 1983. Along with yoga, Kren is also trained in various bodywork modalities, Qigong forms, and healing methods. In the late 1990's, with her mother Shirley, she taught The Invisible Ball, a Qigong program for children in public schools. In 2003, she began teaching therapeutic yoga classes and private yoga therapy sessions, including classes in bone health, back care, women's health, and balance. Today Karen teaches movement and balance classes for seniors, and works with individuals one-on-one in coaching, movement, balance training and personal transformation.
