Libby WillisLibby Willis, a longtime resident of Oakhurst, holds degrees in English, French, and journalism from Baylor University. The first director of the southwest office of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, she has written extensively about the istory and architecture of Oakhurst, and she led the successful 2010 listing of the Oakhurst Historic District in the National Register of Historic Places. For this book, she has drawn on university and institutional archives, private collections, online sources, and the family albums of residents, past and present.
