Maggie LawrenceMaggie Lawrence is an award-winning screenwriter turned author. She began her writing career as a feature writer on the Age TV and Radio Guide. Maggie further honed her skill of imaginative and original creative writing, plus learning to think lateraly, after being trained as an advertising copywriter at Ogilvy and Mather. She then enjoyed a 12-year copywriting career working for international agencies in London, Sydney and Melbourne, before retiring from advertising to focus on writing books, screenplays and TV comedy. Maggie's imaginative, humorous and educational debut children's book, An Element of Fun was written with an objective to help 5 to 8 year old children learn about courage, self-esteem and living harmoniously with each other. It started out as a play for children.
