Mridul BhasinA Fulbright scholar with a Master’s degree and PhD in English literature, Dr Mridul Bhasin is an acclaimed writer, communications professional and social worker. Her published works include The New Life, a translated collection of stories by PadmaShri Award-winner Vijaydan Detha; The Living Traditions of Rajasthan, a coffee-table book commissioned by the Department of Tourism, Rajasthan; and she has contributed to Rajasthan’s Folk Art, a pocket edition by HarperCollins India. Her columns and articles regularly appear in newspapers and art and design magazines. For over a decade now Mridul has played a significant role in a not-for-profit trust, Muskaan Foundation for Road Safety.
