Parker Bishop AlbeeParker Bishop Albee, Jr. is a native New Englander, a graduate of Dartmouth College, and received his PhD in History from Duke University. He is Professor Emeritus from the University of Southern Maine where he enjoyed a rewarding 47-year teaching caeer. He has co-authored two books on the Iwo Jima flag raising with Keller Cushing Freeman: Shadow of Suribachi (Praeger) and Iwo Jima Icon (Palmetto Publishing).
