Richard DuBoisRichard Dubois fell in love with monsters, horror, and all thinks spooky. Any monster that emerged from the inky depths of Tokyo Bay, crawled out of a grave, or slithered from a mad scientist's lab was guaranteed to set Richard's imagination afire. A avid reader, Richard graduated from reading Edgar Allan Poe at age nine to books by Stephen King and Dean Koontz in his teens. It was only fitting that Richard channeled his natural story telling ability with his love of horror by becoming an author. With the birth of his son in 2008, Richard began writing for children. He wanted to give his son the kind of page-turning, sleep-with the-lights-on fiction he enjoyed so much as a child. In addition to writing, Richard's main interests are physical fitness, hosting parties, reading, exploring haunted or abandoned places that more sensible people would avoid and, of course, being a dad. His ideal evening would be with his son and some friends, the lights dimmed low, a fire glowing in the fireplace, a bowl of popcorn salty and slathered in butter, and a horror movie on the television.
