Sanford GarnerDr. Garner worked as a research technician in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of North at Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) for 10 years after receiving his BA in Chemistry from the same institution. 'His Ph.D. is in Pharmacology from UN-CH.' He did a postdoc in the Department of Nutrition at UNC-CH with Dr. Anderson and then continued in the department as a Research Assistant Professor.' He subsequently moved to the Department of Surgery at Duke University for 7 years as a Research Assistant Professor and manager of the Surgical Endocrinology and Oncology Laboratory.
