Santina A ZanelliSantina A. Zanelli, MD, FAAP is an Associate Professor in the Division of Neonatology at the University of Virginia (UVa), where she is the Co-Director of the UVa Neuro-NICU program. Dr Zanelli is particularly interested in neurological disorders of he newborn, outcomes and family centered care. Her most recent research focus has been on developing methods to accurately identify infants who are at high risk for neurodevelopmental impairment as early as possible, with the goal of enrolling them in a novel NICU-based rehabilitation program developed at UVa.
