Shruti KangaDr. Shruti Kanga worked as an Assistant Professor in in the Centre for Land Resource Management, Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ), Ranchi. I had previously served as Research Associate in Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF) GoI funded project on Forest Fires and has teaching experience in different universities i.e. Central University of HNB Garhwal and University of Jammu. I did my Ph.D. degree in Technology (Geoinformatics) from Department of Remote Sensing, Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi in 2013. She has worked in the area of forest fires risk modelling and management, tourism, resource management etc. she has also 05 M.Sc. thesis completed under her guidance. She has 35 publications in peer refereed national and international journal, 01 book and 02 book chapter. She has attended and organised around 15 national and international conferences. She was also course coordinator of different modules of EDUSAT based distance learning programme organized by IIRS (Indian Institute of Remote Sensing), ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization), Govt. of India.
