Somnath ChaudhuriMr. Somnath Chaudhuri has a M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering and B. Sc. in Physics, all from the University of Calcutta, India. He is working as an International faculty, in the Department of T, Faculty of Science, Maldives National University. Before this he was working as Lecturer and Database Advisor for Royal Thimphu College, Bhutan for 4 years. His research interest lies in the domain of GIS, Web GIS, Map Mashups, Cloud Computing, Automated System, and Application of Information Technology in Business and Industry Sectors. He has some National and International publications in these domains. He is the editor of few books published by IGI Global, USA. Mr. Chaudhuri has worked as the project guide for some real-time projects in the government and private sectors of Bhutan and Maldives.
