Susan AldermanSusan Alderman has a Master's in Nursing Education and a PhD in Nursing with a research focus on cognitive recovery after stroke. She is the Clinical Research Director at the Institute for Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease at the McGovern Medical Scool and Assistant Professor - Clinical at Cizik School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse coordinator and researcher for the Stroke Team from 2008 to 2014. Dr. Alderman has worked on various industry and NIH trials, including the first US trial using stem cells to treat acute stroke.
