Tony JamesHamilton (Tony) E. James is president and chief operating officer of Blackstone. He is a director of Costco Wholesale Corporation and has served on a number of other corporate boards. Mr. James is a commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and ew Jersey as well as serving as a trustee of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and as a member of the boards of trustees of the Mount Sinai Health System and the Center for American Progress. He is also vice chairman of Trout Unlimited's Coldwater Conservation Fund, a trustee of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and a trustee of the Wildlife Conservation Society. He serves on the advisory board of the Montana Land Reliance and is chairman emeritus of the board of trustees of American Ballet Theatre.
