Yuko Nagamizu

Yuko Nagamizu, LLM, is a Professor in civil law, family law, law of succession and medical law at the Faculty of Law of Momoyama Gakuin University (St. Andrew's University) in Osaka, Japan. She graduated from Sophia University in Tokyo and eceived LLM from the graduate school of law at Sophia University. She has written articles on medical neglect, mature minor's right in health care, especially on abortion and life-sustaining medical treatment, genetic information and family, assisted reproductive technology and organ transplant. She is a member of governmental committees on the amendment of ethical guidelines of medical research, and on embryonic stem cell research.
