About the Book

This book examines the internal and external issues that confront the Radical Afrocentrist African/Edenic Person who commits to the counter-hegemonic struggle to bring the kingdom of God to this earth. It engages the inner and outer conflicts and their resolution that are part and parcel of the tortuous life of a Radical Afrocentrist African/Edenic Person who has undertaken the task of overthrowing the extant status quo world-system without losing heart, becoming bitter or giving way to despair in the face of the system's apparent intractability.
About the Author: John Elliott Churchville, Ph.D., J.D., is an author, scholar-activist, educator, leadership coach, Radical Afrocentrist African/Edenic Liberation theologian, social change entrepreneur and attorney. He is the Managing Partner, Churchville Triad Consulting Group, a revenue cycle management consulting and related services company, the founder and CEO of Liberation Fellowship Community Development Corporation, a federally tax-exempt charitable organization, a member of the Advisory Board, African American Studies Department, Temple University and a Fellow at the Molefi Kete Asante Institute for Afrocentric Studies. Because of his innovative community organizing work in Southwest Georgia, the Mississippi Delta and Philadelphia, PA, from the 1960s to the present, John was chosen to be videographed for the joint Civil Rights History Project of the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian Institution. His 21/2 hour interview has been archived for the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, DC and at the Charles L. Blockson Afro-American Collection at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. His experience and background include: civil rights voter registration work in Southwest Georgia and the Mississippi Delta in the early 1960s; creating and head-mastering an independent school for African American inner-city youth from the early 1960s until the late 1970s; functioning as the director of a national criminal justice program and fundraiser for an international charitable organization from the late 1970s to the early 1980s; developing a financial services, insurance and securities brokerage firm and Registered Investment Advisory service from the early to late-1980s; serving as a farm-workers' rights, criminal defense, Elderlaw, estate planning and corporate affairs attorney from the 1990s; functioning as an environmental and social justice advocate and leadership/organizational development and strategic planning consultant since 2004; Founder and Senior Pastor of Liberation Fellowship Church of Jesus from 2005-2013; Executive Director of G'Town Restoration Corporation from 2014-2016; franchise consultant at The Churchville Triad Group and Managing Partner, Churchville Triad Consulting Group since 2017.
