Durgaprasad RamtekeDurgaprasad Ramteke is currently a researcher in Fiber and particle Engineering at the University of Oulu in Finland. Prior to his recent appointment at the UOULU, he was a visiting researcher at the University of Padova, Italy. Dr. Ramteke received is M.Sc. degree in Physics from University of Nagpur and his Ph.D. in Material Science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT, Nagpur). Dr. Ramteke published several papers in preferred Journals and participated in a range of forums on material science. He also presented various academic as well as research-based papers at several national and international conferences in the USA, South Africa, and Europe. He was also part of the HORIZON 2020 program. His research work mainly focused on glasses, glass ceramics, ceramics, inorganic waste management, foam glass and geopolymers for direct applications.
