Fernando Elorza GuerreroProfessor Dr Fernando Elorza Guerrero (born 11 September 1970) studied law at the University of Seville, Spain (1988-1993), where he first obtained his degree (with a major in Business Law) and later, in 1999, his Ph.D. in Law. He has lecturedat the Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences of the University of Seville (1994-1999) and, since 2002, has been an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of Pablo de Olavide University (Seville), the institution he joined in 1999. His research activities have focused mainly on the analysis of collective bargaining in private companies and of corporate restructuring processes, both in their labour and in their social security dimensions. He is the author and co-author of many articles published by scientific reviews and chapters included in collective monographs dealing with these issues. He has also published a monograph on company collective agreements and in 2012 in European Labour Law (Wolters Kluwer) another monograph entitledEuropean Works Council Spain.
